This must be the sutta...</title><content type='html'>Robert-&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;This is interesting. This must be the sutta that the chant " Verses on Friends" comes from.  I hear the chant a lot but never knew exactly where it came from. You did a nice job of expounding on some of the meaning of the sutta. &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;This sutta seems to provide some great advice. It's nice to see that the Buddha didn't just suggest giving to only Buddhist groups but actually suggested that we give to others as well.
